Hook: Kamasan B170 or 175 sizes 10,12 or 14.
Tail: Groundhog, squirrel or similar hair fibres, or appropriately coloured cock hackle.
Rib: Gold wire
Body: Mix of hare's ear/mask, grey squirrel or fox squirrel.
Thread: 'Brown Olive' UTC 70 den.
A simple twist on Bob Barden's 'Killer'. Vary the size, depth, position on the leader and line, and just about everything on the trout's menu is covered - buzzers, epehemerid nymphs, sedge pupae, pin-fry, houg louse, shrimp etc etc...
