My favourite of the many red holographic crunchers I've tried. Simply throw down a couple of strands of peacock, then tightly wind two strands of Guttermans, or a fine red holographic up the body. Keep it slim, and keep it on your leader.
Hook: Size 10,12 or 14 Kamasan B175 or 170.
Tail: Ginger/brown/red game cock.
Rib: Guttermans 'Sulky' red holographic tinsel, doubled.
Body: Peacock herl.
Thorax: As body.
Hackle: Hen, to match tail.
Thread: Red UTC 70 Denier.
