'Skara Monger
Dressing

.

Another fly tied specially for my very first trip to Orkney. The Skarra Monger was one of the few 'new' flies tied for the trip that actually earned its keep, catching on most lines on all the waters we fished. A nice little surpise was the fact that it likes bright sunshine, and seems to love the dreaded middle dropper position! One of my stand-out flies of the trip.
